Accident Prone

If you asked me a year ago about my knitting skills, I’d probably say, “terrible!” When I first started, my tension would be too tight and let’s face it, whatever I was working on would come out delapitated. Since then, I have tried again and completed my first project.

I was so proud of myself for completing my first knitted project! Until it dawned on me, I had read the instructions wrong! 🤦🏼‍♀️ I had never worked with “circular” needles before, how was I to know that I didn’t have to join at the first row! LOL (The instructions were not clear either.)

What’s that phrase some people use?

“There are no such things as an accident, only a failure to recognize the hand of fate.” – Napoleon Bonaparte

In this case, it came out nice and cozy.

I will attempt the pattern again and will get the desired long, large, cozy infinity scarf I had hoped for in the first place. As they say, if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again…

Until next time folks!

May joy and peace surround you, contentment latch your door, and happiness be with you now and bless you evermore!
