Simple, yet promising

Interesting how today’s blog prompt was the word ‘simple.’ I had debated even submitting a post, since I had nothing to show you today. But, maybe that’s not quite true.

I would like to share with you what to expect for the remaining month. Given February is considered the ‘month of love’ (it is also known for other things, but this is a DIY blog), this month will be jammed packed full of hearts and cherubs.

I’ll give a congratulations (or set an ear worm) for all the lovely couples about to be engaged. February 14th is the second most common date to get engaged. Don’t believe me? See for yourself, here.

After being engaged, I can personally vouch, you will begin to prepare for your wedding the day after. So many words could describe what you will be feeling for awhile until after your honeymoon. Excitement, exhilaration, anticipation, and of course, happiness. Though, two words you may not think of right away, is anxiety and stress. Planning a wedding is a lot of work! I hope to relieve some of that stress for those that want a little DIY feel. Starting February 15th to the 21st, I will share how my DIY wedding unfolded.

Some other posts to expect:

  • Last minute DIY Valentine gift
  • DIY business cards
  • DIY heart pillow
  • DIY double pointed needle organizer
  • DIY Christmas card
  • Honeymoon on a budget
  • Repurposed wedding materials

And much more!

Can’t wait to share all of these with you. I would love to hear some thoughts of what you would like to see in future posts. Just leave a comment below. See you next time!
